There is a Baro Dwari Mosque at GargZaripa union of Sourwardi upazila of Sherpur district. The mosque has 12 entrance paths. Because of this it has been named Baro Dwari Mosque. There are 9 gateways on the east side, 2 in the south and 1 entrance on the north side. You can also see 3 windows. This mosque, built by brick, has many designs on the walls. The mosque has three domes. It is believed that Hazrat Zarip Shah, a religious preacher, built this mosque. Hazrat Zarip Shah's grave is also in this GargZaripa. This Baro Dwari Mosque of GargZaripa is mainly composed of the original mosque. The original mosque remains under the ground. The construction techniques of the mosque fascinate tourists. It is believed that the original mosque was built at any time in the thirteen or fourteenth century.
